KUWAIT CITY, January 12: The Ministry of Higher Education announced on Saturday that it is closely monitoring the safety and well-being of Kuwaiti students studying in the United States, especially in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. This work is carried out in constant coordination with the city department of culture.

In a statement, the ministry explained that these follow-up measures are being carried out under the direct instructions of Dr. Nader Al-Jalal, Minister of Higher Education and Research, in light of recent incidents involving strong winds and fires in the region. The ministry assured the public that all students are safe and did not face any serious difficulties during these events, noting that most universities are located far from fire zones.

The Ministry emphasizes constant communication with cultural departments to ensure the safety of students, offering guidance and support through open communication channels available 24 hours a day. He urged students to follow instructions issued by Los Angeles local authorities, avoid areas affected by wildfires and high winds, and follow safety procedures recommended by US authorities.
