‘You know I’m drunk’: Body camera footage captures woman flirting with Sarasota police officer during DUI arrest

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Recently released body camera footage captured a Hooters waitress trying to flirt her way out of the scene of an alleged drug-related arrest.

The Sarasota Police Department wants the public to know that while a video circulating online may seem funny to some, it’s important to remember the serious and dangerous consequences of impaired driving.

Sophia Ross, 22, was caught behind the wheel of the Jeep with a blood alcohol content of 0.318, police said.

The police department says the officer acted professionally during the collision, ensuring that this driver was safely removed from the road.

Ross was arrested and charged with DUI with a BAC of 0.15 or higher. Her bond was set at $500.
