BTS, Stray Kids’ Fans Stand By Jimin, Han; Make sure Stationhead deletes the post to exclude K-Pop group members

Music app Stationhead has outraged fans of BTS and Stray Kids by excluding members of K-pop groups in a recent post. It’s about idols Jimin and Han.

On January 10, the music streaming platform posted on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle asking followers what artist they were listening to in the new year. Most of the photos in the collage featured solo images of the musicians, only Stray Kids and BTS were placed as groups. Rose from Blackpink, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Zayn, Billie Eilish and Sabrina Carpenter were also part of it.

However, it didn’t take long for fans to notice that Stationhead left out the members in the BTS and Stray Kids photos. Jimin’s cut angered ARMY by pointing out that BTS is made up of seven members instead of six! “BTS IS SEVEN”, “RESPECT JIMIN” and “APOLOGINE TO JIMIN” were among the reactions to X. Most fans demanded that Stationhead correct their mistake.

“So who is the layperson behind this account? The only artist I will stream is Jimin, and only Jimin, who you cut out with contempt. AS. YOU DARE YOU,” the fan wrote. Another added: “If the frame was too small, you might find another image, but you can’t just kick a contestant out.”

Similarly, for Stray Kids, the app used a photo in which he was not present. STAYs felt it was inappropriate to choose an image that did not include all eight members. “As people have pointed out, the BTS photo does not feature a member of the group. But also, the Stray Kids photos don’t feature member Han (he was absent during this photo, but there are so many other shots). Please do better and research artists (and always count heads),” the user wrote.

Stationhead eventually deleted the post.
