On Oct. 29, a Prince William County District Court judge denied a bail appeal for Dr. Latoya Crabb, who is charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of her husband, Curtis Crabb Jr.

Prosecutors say Crabb confessed to the Oct. 21 shooting. Her attorney, David Daughtery, claims it was an act of self-defense. According to Judge Kimberly A. Irving’s decision, Crabb will remain in the Prince William County Jail without bail.
