LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A sunny but chilly day in the low 20s. The sun’s rays will help improve at least some of the icy side roads, but be careful! Clouds are increasing overnight ahead of our next system.

Tonight will be cool, with single digits and lows depending on cloud cover; the temperature should rise before sunrise.

Tomorrow is a WAVE WARNING DAY as a storm system brings accumulating snow to the region. While flurries and light snow are possible tomorrow morning, the main chance of moderate to heavy snow will be in the afternoon and evening.

Snow showers continue across the region Friday night, changing to flurries by Saturday morning. Most places can get around 3″-4″ with some higher totals possible.

Flurries continue Saturday as clouds remain overhead. Temperatures will remain below zero throughout most of the weekend.
