The police chase ended in an accident with children in the truck

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – A car chase ended in a crash where children were found inside the truck.

The Department of Public Safety (DPS) pursuit ended just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the intersection of Chicago Street and San Bernardo Avenue. Border guards also worked on the spot.

The DPS reported that children were found in the truck involved in the accident. An ambulance team arrived to help the victims.

Witnesses saw people being carried on gurneys and loaded into ambulances. Officers worked at the scene directing traffic during the cleanup.
