DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – Police have identified a body found in the Mississippi River as Olivia Harrison, who was previously considered missing.

Davenport police said Wednesday that Harrison, 24, was identified by the Iowa State Medical Examiner after the body was found on the riverbank in LeClair Park October 24.

Police said foul play is not suspected and the incident remains under investigation.

According to a police report, on Oct. 24 at approximately 1:03 p.m., the Scott Emergency Response Center received a report of a body found in the river on the LeClair Park Boardwalk.

The medical examiner told police that the body appeared to have been in the river for a long period of time.

Harrison went missing on October 16, just one day before her parents planned to take her to a doctor to help her deal with mental health issues.
