Letztere soll among others also offer a better Encoding-Qualität.

Neues Namensschema und Positionierung

AMD has adjusted the name scheme of its graphics cards. Series 9000er soll nun besser mit den Ryzen-9000-Prozesoren Harmonize and enable a direct comparison with Nvidia’s models. This is how the AMD RX 9070 XT is positioned at the level of the level GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. The RX 9070 video card is sold in the new Radeon RX 7800 XT version.

AMD mentioned auch bereits ine commende RX 9060-Serie, gab dazu aber keine weiteren Details bekannt. 8000er designations are reserved for the integrated RDNA-3.5 graphics units in Ryzen processors.

FSR 4, KI, Verfäglichkeit und Preise

One of the newest is AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4). This upscaling technology is sold exclusively to optimize RDNA 4 and preserve the capabilities of the new Karten feature. FSR 4 now also uses KI-Technology to upscale low-resolution images and improve image quality.
