River Rouge teenager found safe, father arrested

RIVER ROUGE, MI – Richka Rouge, a 13-year-old who left went missing on sunday was found safe and his father arrested.

The family of the 13-year-old boy reported that he was last seen on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the McDonald’s located at 10995 West Jefferson Avenue in River Rouge.

They believed he was “in immediate danger.”

Police said the boy was seen tying his bicycle to a rack outside the restaurant. He went inside briefly and then came out after about a minute.

Cameras captured him getting into the front passenger seat of a dark-colored Chevrolet Tahoe owned by the boy’s father, Christopher Allen Brown Sr.

The father is arrested

Officials said Brown Sr.’s parental rights were terminated in August “due to an incident of child abuse.”

Police said Tuesday, Oct. 29, that Brown Sr. was arrested following a traffic stop in Kentucky. A warrant request was sent to the Wayne County District Attorney.
