The driver overturns the car and flees the scene

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Police in Toledo are looking for someone who overturned a car and fled the scene overnight.

It happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. Wednesday near Richards Road and Dorchester Drive.

Officers at the scene told 13 Action News the driver was southbound on Richards Street and went left of center, hit a curb, then a guardrail and overturned. It is unclear what caused them to cross the center line.

The driver fled the scene before police arrived. Police say it is unknown if the driver was injured, but no witnesses were injured.

Investigators also said the vehicle was not registered as stolen. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
