Body found near railroad tracks North State Street Jackson MS: Police ID

A Jackson police official has confirmed that a body found Tuesday near railroad tracks on North State Street was a homicide.

Deputy Director Sequern Banks identified the deceased as 21-year-old Omar Drake.

Banks said Drake “suffered an upper body injury.”
