HRA Hike News: Government employees in Rajasthan got some good news on Chhoti Diwali (October 30). A few days after increasing the Departmental Allowance (DA) for government employees, the Rajasthan government led by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has announced a hike in the House Rent Allowance (HRA).

Rajasthan Finance Department Budget Minister Debashish Prusti also issued an order in this regard on Wednesday. It mentions the increase in HRA as a category. As per this notification, HRA has been increased by 20 percent for ‘Y’ category cities and 10 percent for ‘Z’ category cities. This order comes into force on November 1, 2024.
