Gunshots rang out again in Tepe Park after fatal shooting

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Police are investigating a shooting late Tuesday night in Evansville that left one person dead.

It was reported to the Evansville Police Department, where officers were called to a shooting in Tepe Park around 10:30 p.m.

We were told that the suspect in the shooting has not been identified, and they have not been taken into custody.

At the scene, our team says they heard what sounded like another gunshot.

Our correspondent says that after hearing this sound, the police ordered everyone to evacuate.

Dispatch confirms another shot was fired in the area at 11:39 p.m

An EPD sergeant says the investigation is ongoing.
