How to record calls on iPhone

  • Go to the Phone app on your iPhone and make a call.
  • During a call, click the “Start call recording” button in the upper left corner of the screen.
  • After pressing the button, both participants of the call will hear an audio message that the call is being recorded.
  • If you want to stop the recording, press the “Stop” button or just hang up.

Note. Call recordings are automatically saved in the Call Recordings folder in the Notes app. To view the call in Notes, tap View saved call. Go to the Phone app on your iPhone.

How to view a transcript of a conversation

  • Go to the Notes app on your iPhone.
  • Select the note in the Call Recordings folder, then tap Transcript. Spoken languages ​​are automatically transcribed in supported languages. If you don’t see the text, your iPhone doesn’t meet the minimum requirements or doesn’t detect a supported language.
  • The transcript indicates who is speaking in each statement.
  • While viewing a transcript, you can do any of the following:
  1. Play audio from a specific point: Select the text you want to hear.
  2. Search the transcript: Tap More, then tap Search Transcript.
  3. Copy a transcript: Tap the More button, then select Add transcript to note or Copy transcript.
  4. Save or delete an audio recording: Tap the More button, then select the option you want. It should be noted here that deleting the audio also deletes the transcript.
