Teenagers in Auburn and Union Springs have been killed and three others injured in shootings

UNION SPRINGS, Ala. (WRBL) – A shooting left two young men dead and three others injured early Saturday morning in Union Springs. The shooting happened around 3 a.m. in the 300 block of Waugh Street. Special Agents with SBI ALEA responded to the scene on October 26th at the request of the Union Springs Police Department.

Among the dead was 19-year-old Adrian Tarver of Auburn, who was pronounced dead at the scene. David Benton, 19, of Union Springs, was taken to Bullock County Hospital but later died from his injuries. In addition to the two dead, three more people were injured and taken to a local hospital for medical treatment. Their current condition remains unknown.

Adrian Tarver is not related to 18-year-old Delvin Tarver, who was killed by a bullet in the parking lot of Union Spings CVS on Baskin Street on May 4. No arrests were made in this case.

Authorities have not yet released additional details because the investigation is still ongoing.
