Boaz police are investigating an “alleged homicide” in a restaurant parking lot

MARSHALL CO., AL (WAFF) – The Boaz Police Department is currently investigating an alleged homicide that occurred in Western Sizzlin Tuesday afternoon.

Boaz Police Department officers responded to the restaurant around 2:20 p.m. for a potential assault.

When officers arrived, they found the victim in the parking lot dead from what appeared to be a stab wound.

Officials say the suspect was taken into custody after a short pursuit.

The restaurant appeared to be closed as our crews arrived on scene Tuesday evening.
