Sergio Reguilon deletes all pictures of ex-influencer girlfriend Marta Diaz as Tottenham left-back shares Christmas snap with new partner

Fans have noticed that Sergio Reguilon has decided to delete all of his Instagram posts featuring his ex-girlfriend Marta Diaz.

Tottenham left-back Reguilon, 28, and social media star Diaz, 24, ended their long-term relationship last September while Diaz was filming for the hit Spanish program El Desafio.

Diaz was removed from his social media profile after he shared a Christmas picture with his new partner Clara Rantz Rodriguez.

A couple was spotted posing in front of a Christmas tree, hugging their dog.

Rodriguez recently made her love for Reguilon clear with a post of her own on his 28th birthday.

“Happy birthday my life @sergioregui. I use this special day to repeat how lucky I am to have you in my life, you are a wonderful and incredibly strong person,” she wrote.

“I am so proud of you!! Happy that I can spend this day next to you for another year. I love you my love, happy birthday and happy life!!’

Little is known about Rodriguez other than that she has 124,000 followers on Instagram and is the co-founder of a jewelry company.

Regilon has been on Tottenham’s books for four years but has spent time on loan at three clubs.

He appeared to share a sarcastic message about his Spurs sacking after Ange Postecoglou handed him his first seven minutes of football this season in the Carabao Cup win over Manchester United.

The Spanish outcast was subbed off in the 91st minute of the 4-3 win over United, one of the clubs he spent time with on loan.

The full-back is clearly considered surplus to requirements and has only made the bench five times this campaign.

The game was essentially his first appearance for Spurs since April 2022 after loan spells at Atletico, Manchester United and Brentford.

His contract expires at the end of the season and Mail Sport reported in the summer that he wanted to join a club playing European football.

After the United game, he wrote on Instagram: “Look mom, I played football yesterday.”

The 28-year-old did receive interest during the summer but decided to reject the offers he received.

Manchester United terminated Regillon’s loan spell in January after he failed to impress at Old Trafford.

He spent the end of last season on loan at Brentford, where he made 16 appearances, including 14 starts.

Spurs signed him on a five-year deal for £30m in 2020 and he started well for them but clearly fell out of favour.

Opportunities could open up as Tottenham continue the season and Postecoglou admitted that fellow left-back Destina Udogi is tired.
