Redding teenagers accused of double murder are back in court

REDDING, Calif. — Redding teenagers accused of kill two men in a shootout were in court again earlier this month to make their pleas.

Andrew Greer-Herrera19 and Trevon Evanoff18, were at the Shasta County Superior Courthouse Tuesday morning. The pair have been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and three counts of assault for the murders of 22-year-old Isaiah Jacob Stanley and 30-year-old Winfred Bookmaker Avant Jr.

However, during the hearing, both the district attorney’s office and the defense attorney said they needed more time because police were still gathering evidence, and the defense attorney said they were having trouble getting discovery evidence.

The hearing continued on December 10 at 8:30
