Body found inside “closed driveway” in Stonycreek Twp. home

CAMBRIA COUNTY, PA (WJAC) — Officials in Cambria County say the coroner’s office was called Monday to investigate a death in the Oakland area of ​​Stonycreek Township.

County Coroner Jeff Lees says the victim, a man in his 40s, has been reported missing since Friday.

The authorities report that the man’s body was found in the “closed entrance” of the house on Zimova Street shortly before 11:30 am.

Lees says the man was caring for another resident of the home and the death is being treated as “suspicious.”

“We do have some trauma, which is always a concern, and we’re going to take due care in the investigation process to make sure we don’t miss anything and we’re going to follow our standard protocol. »

An autopsy was scheduled for early Tuesday morning.
