A fresh video of the stampede at Sandhya Theater has been released, showing fans waiting at the gates and pushing each other to get inside before the screening of Pushpa 2. This happened when the film’s actor Allu Arjun appeared for questioning at the Chikkadpally police in connection with the death of a woman in a stampede during the screening of the film Pushpa 2 in Hyderabad on December 4.

Allu Arjun was summoned and Commissioner CV Anand released a video showing the sequence of events inside the theatre. A 35-year-old woman died in a stampede at Sandhya Theater on December 4, while her eight-year-old son was hospitalized with serious injuries.

After the stampede, the police opened a case against the actor, his security and the theater management. Allu Arjun and his team were charged with premeditated murder, which is not murder. He was arrested on December 13 and granted interim bail in the Telangana High Court on the same day. He was released from the pre-trial detention center on the morning of December 14.
