Six people have been charged in a drug-trafficking investigation in Brantford and the Six Nations

Six people have been arrested as part of an investigation into drug trafficking by Six Nations Police and Brentford Police.

The initiative, called Project Sideshow, began earlier this month, according to a statement from Six Nations Police.

Officers searched six homes in Brentford and Six Nations and seized cocaine, hydromorphone, cash and loaded guns and ammunition.

Four people from Brantford, aged between 23 and 46, and a 54-year-old man from Osweken were arrested. They were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking: cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking: hydromorphone and proceeds of crime under $5,000.
