Pickaway – Serious injuries resulted after a suspected drunken driver drove left of center and crashed into a 52-year-old Kingston woman last week.

On October 23, 2024 at approximately 6:30 p.m., Tristian Stumbo 28 of Laurelville was westbound on SR-56 in his 2017 GMC Sierra when he traveled left of center and struck a 2016 Lincon MKS that was eastbound on SR- 56 at high altitude. rate of speed. Both vehicles collided head-on, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway. A third 2017 Kia vehicle was involved in the accident.

The driver of the Lincon, Colleen Kinder of Kingston, was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to Berger and then to Grant with serious injuries. The driver of Stumbo’s truck suffered minor injuries, while the driver of the Kia was not injured.

Stumbo was charged with driving without proper control and suspected of being under the influence, with other charges possible.
