A Viktorvil woman was identified as a suspect in the fatal wounding of a boy

A woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death at a Victorville home over the weekend, authorities said.

Carola Marita Johnson, 60, was arrested in connection with the slaying of 65-year-old Keith Toliver early Sunday, according to official San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department records and booking records. Both were described as residents of Victorville.

The alleged attack happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday at a home in the 13700 block of Mesa View Drive.

Toliver died of his wounds at a hospital shortly after being shot, officials said.

Homicide detectives determined Johnson was the “sole suspect” in the fatal stabbing, sheriff’s officials said. written statement. She was booked into jail and held without bail pending her first court appearance.
