Two teenagers were shot dead at a gas station in southeast Atlanta, and a woman moved

ATLANTATwo teenagers were injured in a shooting near the corner of Flat Shoals Road and Fayetteville Road in southeast Atlanta Monday night.

Officers were called to the parking lot of a corner gas station just after 9:15 p.m. According to the Atlanta Police Department, they found a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the back. He was rushed to the district hospital in serious condition.

About 15 minutes later, police received a second call about a mile south of Fayetteville Road. Police found a 17-year-old girl with a gunshot wound to her right knee. Investigators believe she was shot at a gas station and fled the scene in search of help. She was taken to the nearest hospital for treatment.

In addition, the woman was run over by another woman who was trying to leave the scene of the shooting in her car. The woman suffered neck and rib injuries and was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

The names of the involved persons have not been released. It was not immediately clear whether police were looking for the shooter or multiple shooters. The case remains under investigation by APD’s aggravated assault unit.
