£1,000 Sisters star pleads guilty to drug charge

Amy Slayton’s legal battle has come to an end.

On Thursday, December 19, in 1000 pounds sister star appeared in a courtroom in Crockett County, Tennessee, where she was sentenced for her September arrest at the Tennessee Safari Park in the Alamo. According to court documents received in E! News, The 37-year-old reality star accepted a plea deal, pleading guilty to simple possession. Charges of child abuse and child endangerment were dismissed as part of the deal.

trans Action News 5Slayton and her companion, Brian Scott Lovvorn, who was arrested with her, will not serve time in prison. Instead, the pair were sentenced to two years of supervised probation, ordered to pay a $1,000 fine each, and banned from returning to the zoo.

Slayton’s arrest took place in September over the Labor Day weekend. Police were called to a Tennessee safari park after a camel allegedly bit a TLC star. However, deputies noticed a strong and suspicious odor coming from her vehicle when they arrived at the scene.

The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department released an incident report Facebookwriting, “(Slayton) was arrested for unlawful possession of Schedule I, unlawful possession of Schedule VI and two counts of child endangerment.”

In the photos received TMZ, the personality of the reality show could be seen taken out of the zoo on a stretcher Slayton reportedly had a deep cut on her arm and used her shirt as a tourniquet until she got to the emergency room.

Slayton has two sons with ex-husband Michael Halterman, Glenn, 2, and Gage, 4.

Amy’s sister, Tammy Slayton, was recently criticized for being rude to her in the November episode 1000 pounds sister. In this episode, Tammy gets mad at Amy for playing a prank on the limo driver.

Tammy, 38, responded to the backlash in an Instagram Reel posted on Thursday, Dec. 5, describing Amy’s behavior in the episode as “reckless” and claiming she was drunk during filming.

“I’m sorry for the way I treated her. I’m sorry for the way I called her, but at the same time she was reckless and didn’t care about anything. Sometimes it’s embarrassing. It was embarrassing for me,” Tammy said.
