10 deals that should happen in 1 week (video)

The Los Angeles Rams are a good example of how the NFL trading block changes every week.

The The rams looked like salesmen a week ago Then they brought back Puk Naqua and Cooper Kupp, upset the Minnesota Vikings to improve to 3-4, and may not be sellers anymore. Although that may change again by next Tuesday’s deadline.

With so many bad teams in the NFL heading into the deadline, there should be a lot of sellers, a lot of buyers, and we should get a lot of action at the deadline. Here are 10 deals that need to happen:

When the Jets traded for Adams, it was a bad idea. Everyone knew that. They chased after their losses. And now, with The Jets are an embarrassing 2-6it’s time to reassess everything. Why not trade Adams to a team that needs him? Maybe a team that just lost their starter, like the 49ers and Brandon Ayuk. The 49ers aren’t barren at receiver, but Adams could help. As long as Aaron Rodgers allows the Jets to trade his friend, there is no good reason for the Jets to keep him. Realistically, a trade won’t happen because the Jets are on fire for an organization, but it should be.

Let’s not fantasize about Max Crosby or Miles Garrett getting emotional. The Raiders and Browns may not be very good, but they aren’t trading these franchise players unless someone makes a ridiculous offer. That doesn’t mean the Lions can’t do less to replace Aidan Hutchinson. There are several options, but Young offers some advantages. He’s far from perfect, but if he’s healthy and motivated, he can be an effective pass rusher for a Super Bowl contending team like he was for the 49ers last season. And the Saints… well, let’s talk about them.

No team needs a complete reboot more than the Saints. They were stuck in mediocrity for a while and they have collapsed in their last six games. It’s time to demolish it. They have a lot of old veterans that could help the team win, like running back Chase Young, running back Alvin Kamara, halfback Demario Davis or maybe even running back Cam Jordan. But Two-year extension of the Saints to the Chamber It’s been a sign lately that the most short-sighted team in the NFL is going to hold on to their veterans, which would be really dumb and completely on-brand for the Saints. At the very least, Young and his one-year deal should be dealt. Let’s see.

Offensive linemen are hard to come by in trades (even bad teams don’t want their QBs traded), but the Jaguars have a few that could bring back a lot of value in trades. Three names that have been speculated about are Cam Robinson, defensive tackle Brandon Scherff and tight end Tech Walker Little. Robinson makes a lot of sense for the Vikings, who just lost left tackle Christian Darriso to a season-ending knee injury. The Seahawks should also keep in touch with the Jaguars because they may need help on the line as well. If the Jaguars decide to trade a lineman or two, they will have plenty of teams interested.

Yes, that would be weird. The Steelers traded Johnson this offseason and have been trying to replace him ever since. The Steelers need a receiver, and the Panthers should probably trade Johnson. Maybe last season’s chemistry issues will hinder the transition. But it seems like a pretty good fit, doesn’t it?

The Ravens are a very good team with a big problem. They have arguably the worst pass defense in the NFL. Baltimore allowed a passer rating of 115.3, second-worst in the NFL and better than only the Lions. The Ravens are allowing an NFL-worst 291.4 yards per game, 20 more than any other team. The Rams confirmed that they have given White, a former All-Pro with the Bills, permission to search for trade. Injuries have sapped many of White’s abilities, but it might not cost the Ravens much to see if he can help the secondary.

The The cowboy season seems to be overbut there are only 3-4 of them. It’s not too late. They’re not going all-in, as was said a few months ago, but no team needs a running back more than Dallas. They submitted by Derrick Henryclaiming that they cannot afford it, and their cheapness in office is shown. The move here should be Alvin Kamara going to the Cowboys, but the Saints extending Kamara’s contract is a sign they’re going to keep him for some stupid reason. Mostert is 32 years old and cheap enough for Jerry Jones to deal, and the Dolphins should look for reps for rookie Jalen Wright. And the 2-5 Dolphins still shouldn’t hold onto the 32-year-old running back.

The veteran cornerback is in the final year of his deal, and it’s not like the Patriots should be holding onto older players. The Chiefs are weak at cornerback, one of the few weak spots on defense. It would make sense for the Chiefs and Patriots to find a way to include Jones in a trade when Josh Uche was traded to Kansas City. It would make sense for both parties.

The Falcons traded for Matthew Judon and are still tied for last in the NFL with 15 sacks. Maybe another trade will help. Smith has five sacks this season, and the 2-6 Browns shouldn’t push to make the playoffs. Smith could help a The Falcons appear to be on their way to winning the NFC South after beating the Buccaneers.

The Chargers are 4-3 and in the playoffs. They are also one of the weakest teams in the NFL at receiver. Rookie Ladd McConkey was good, but Joshua Palmer didn’t do much and Quentin Johnston faded after a slow start. Thielen could make sense as a short-term reliever for Justin Herbert. The Panthers shouldn’t ask much of the 34-year-old, who is coming off a quiet season, and that would give Thielen a chance to find himself with a decent team near the end of his career.
