Dolphin has partnered with Deepfake Protection Firm Loti AI

Among an explosion of unauthorized AI-generated contentan entertainment marketing and production company Dolphin partnered with Loti AI, a deepfake detection and removal startup that aims to protect star companies and clients from fake accounts, fake endorsements, deepfakes and unlicensed content distribution.

Through the partnership, Dolphin will provide its subsidiaries, including business 42 WestThe Door, Shore Fire, Special Projects and Elle Communications – access to Loti’s tools. The firm will also provide feedback to help Loti (which also has a partnership with WME) further develop and expand the use of its services.

“It’s become increasingly clear that as marketers and public relations professionals, we must do more to help protect the reputation of our client partners both online and in real life,” said Charlie Dugiello, executive director of Dolphin innovations. “We are only doing part of our job if we allow deepfakes and unlicensed use of our partners’ content to go unchecked. With Loti, we now have a powerful AI solution.”

Dolphin CEO Bill O’Dowd added that the new partnership could further open up new revenue streams for the company. “We can expand our suite of premium services and meet the growing demand for brand safety and content protection tools.”

According to the company, which was founded in 2022, Loti’s technology scans more than 450 million online images and videos every day. To date, its automatic removal feature has a 95 percent success rate within 17 hours, the company claims.

This marks Dolphin’s “first step” in its AI roadmap. “We are incredibly excited about the creative and commercial potential of our alliance with Loti,” said O’Dowd. “We recognize that artificial intelligence is still in its infancy, but will increasingly permeate all aspects of business and culture in the coming years.”
