I do 10+2. How do I apply for an army officer position?
See the advertisement published by UPSC for National Defense Academy (NDA) in April/September every year and about 10+2 TES Entry in leading newspapers in November/December and May/June every year.

My qualification is Bcom/Mcom/CA, am I eligible to serve in army?
This will count as graduation/postgraduate studies, however, if the recruitment directorate is looking for specific subjects, this equivalence will not be valid.

Can I apply without Aadhar number?
You can apply, but we advise you to get it as soon as possible and update it in your profile to facilitate biometric identification during recruitment/selection.

I have qualified in Combined Defense Services Examination (CDSE). When is my interview date?
Interviews are usually held after 45-60 days after the declaration of UPSC results. you can check your SSB interview details from this website.

I have vision problems. Am I eligible for a Service Selection Board (SSB) interview?
Medical standards for joining the Armed Forces are established. They are different for different categories. For more information visit www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

I cannot attend the interview on the specified date. What should I do?
Email us at [email protected] with the offer of the period that suits you. We will try to accommodate you according to your availability.

My parents, relatives, friend, sibling or guardian accompany me. What are the conditions for their stay?
Accommodation is not provided for parents/relatives/friends as they are not allowed to enter the Selection Center premises.

My train is late beyond the schedule. what can i do
If you arrive at the station late due to a late train arrival, you are advised to report directly to the Selection Center on your own accord.

If I come the day before, could you entertain me on campus?
No, we advise you to appear on the appointed day. If you arrived earlier due to unavoidable circumstances, you will have to stay in the city by your own arrangement.

A train passing through my home station arrives two days before the reporting date. what can i do
You are obliged to appear at the appointed time specified in the summons. If due to unavoidable circumstances you arrive earlier, you will have to stay in the city by your own arrangements.

I am coming in AC class. What can I be reimbursed in the form of travel allowance?
You can only get travel allowance for the relevant railway class.

My son’s documents have been transferred to a college or university for safekeeping. You tell him to bring the original documents to the interview. What can we do?
You are advised to get the photocopy duly attested by the official officer while appearing for the SSB interview. However, the originals will need to be prepared at the time of admission to the Academy.

Follow these steps:-

Click on OFFICER Menu.
Go to record type.
Click the sub-menu under the entry type to see the interview center location (Allahabad/Bhopal/Bangalore).
After browsing the interview center eg (Allahabad/Bhopal/Bangalore) you can further click on sub menu for specific SSB interview dates.
To view the Merit Position/Issue of Joining Instructions (JI), follow step 3 and click the sub-menu to view the JI Merit/Issue.
The OTA sub-menu covers the following types of entries:-
SSC(NT) MEN
SSC(NT) WOMEN
SSC(TECH) MEN
SSC(TECH) WOMEN
NCC SPL ENTRANCE MEN
NCC SPL WOMEN’S ENTRY
