Suspect in Highland Park murder surrenders to Seattle police

SEATTLE – A 26-year-old man was detained for murder in Highland Park earlier this month.

The police reported that he appeared Seattle Police Management headquarters in the city center on October 25.

The suspect was booked into the King County Jail pending a homicide investigation.

The suspect in the shooting death of a 53-year-old man in the 7800 block of Detroit Avenue Southwest initially fled the scene, police said.

Since then, the authorities have been looking for the man.
