Everything is fine with the children! Giou is Chelsea’s record holder for teenagers

It was -10 degrees Celsius at kick-off in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where Chelsea will play Astana in the UEFA Conference League.

Many youngsters are at risk of catching a cold as boss Enzo Maresca decided to rest his older players.

But the cold didn’t affect 18-year-old Mark Guia, who got a bracket in just 18 minutes of play.

Guyu is one of four under-20 players to start the match, along with Josh Acheampong, Samuel Rak-Saki and Tirik George, making it the first time Chelsea have fielded four teenagers in the starting line-up at a major European tournament.

And they seem to be holding down the fort just fine so far.
