Informant Accused of Giving FBI False Information About Biden Pleads Guilty to 4 Counts

Oleksandr Smirnov entered into a plea agreement with the office of Special Prosecutor David Weiss, agreeing to plead guilty to several counts.

The plea agreement states that Smirnov agrees to “count two of the indictment in United States v. Alexander Smirnov … which charges the defendant with making false and fictitious records in a federal investigation…”

He also agrees to plead guilty to several counts of tax evasion.

Smirnov is accused of providing “false and derogatory information to the FBI(.)”.
