Details on Google Pixel 10 and Pixel 11’s new AI-powered camera features leaked

  • The Pixel 10 may feature AI-powered video editing with ‘Video Generative ML’.

  • The Pixel 10 may introduce photo editing features like Speak-to-Tweak and Sketch-to-Image.

  • The Pixel 11 is rumored to offer up to 100x zoom for photos and videos using machine learning.

Google’s Pixel phones have always stood out for their camera. In recent years, they’ve also made a mark with their innovative camera features, starting with the Magic Eraser on the Pixel 6 before Add me on the Pixel 9 series. Over the past few days, the reports have been detailed Tensor chips that Google plans to use in the 2025 Pixel 10 and 2026 Pixel 11. A new report sheds light on new AI-powered camera features for these devices powered by the new Tensor SoCs.

Writing for Android AuthorityPixel leaker Kamila Wojciechowska claims that the improved TPU Tensor G5 on the Pixel 10 will enable “Video Generative ML” features. It would apparently provide “generative, intuitive AI-based video editing after shooting for the Photos app.” The wording suggests that the Pixel 10 will use artificial intelligence to make video editing easier in Google Photos.

Another new photo editing feature that could debut on the Pixel 10 is Speak-to-Tweak, which lets you dictate the changes you want to make to your images. There’s also the Sketch to Image feature, which is already available on some Galaxy phones as part of Galaxy AI.

Leaked documents from Google’s gChips division also reference a Magic Mirror feature, though it’s unclear what it will do.

The report claims that the Tensor G5 Pixel 10 should be able to run Stable Diffusion models locally. This should help speed up AI-powered image creation in programs like Pixel Studio.

In addition to all these new AI-powered features, the powerful ISP on the Tensor G5 will allow the Pixel 10 to offer 4K HDR video recording at 60fps on all lenses. This is limited to 4K 30fps on the Pixel 8 and 9 series.

The Pixel 11 can compete with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra’s Space Zoom

The report even details some of the camera improvements and features Google is allegedly planning for the 2026 Pixel 11. Apparently, the phone will provide 100x magnification for both photos and videos using machine learning. A lot of best samsung phones offer 100x digital zoom, but this option is limited to images.

The new Tensor G6 Pixel 11 hardware unit will allow the phone to record Cinematic Blur video with a resolution of up to 4K 30 frames per second. It should also help reduce power consumption during video recording by as much as 40%.

Another notable update to the cards is Ultra Low Light Video. Right now, the implementation of Google Night Sight Video processes raw video in the cloud, which leads to a noticeable delay in the readiness of the final result. But thanks to the advancement of the Tensor SoC on the 2026 Pixel 11, Google could bring that processing to the device. The document mentions that the feature starts working when about 5-10 lux of light is available. It looks like these features will also require new camera sensors to work.

In addition to camera improvements, another report details The Pixel 11 can use infrared cameras under the display for face unlock.
