Tributes paid to 18-year-old biker who died in crash in Preston Docks

“At 18, Patrick has lived more than most could hope for in a lifetime. He left behind a tapestry of beautiful memories and stories that will continue to inspire his family and friends.

“Beloved by many, he touched all our hearts with his kindness and devotion to his friends. A fierce defender of his friends from bullies and a great brother to his siblings, he was one of a kind.

“Extremely passionate about motorsport, cars, motorcycles or anything mechanical, he died doing what he loved the most. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.”

The crash happened at 3.48pm on Sunday, December 8 and police are still appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the crash.

A police spokesman said: “Our thoughts are with Patrick’s family, friends and loved ones at this sad and troubling time. They are supported by specially trained officers.

“We are still asking for witnesses and footage of the collision.

“We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam or CCTV footage from the scene when it happened.”
