The authorities are looking for a suspect in the murder of Novaya Nadia

Novaya Nadia police are looking for a suspect in Thursday’s murder.

Officers were called to the 7300 block of Bass Lake Road around 9:39 p.m. Thursday for a report of a shooting. Found there Carnell Mark Johnson Jr., 23. suffered from a gunshot wound to the chest.

He was taken to the hospital, where he died at 10:11 p.m

While no arrests have been made, police say the victim and suspect knew each other and that this was not a random shooting.
