Police are investigating a homicide on Clarence Drive in Natchitoches

NACHITTOCHES, LA (KALB) – The Natchitoches Police Department is investigating a homicide on Clarence Drive that occurred Sunday afternoon.

NPD said officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Clarence Drive on Oct. 27 around 3:56 p.m. in reference to a gunshot victim. Officers found the victim, 33-year-old D’Mario Moran, and began administering first aid until other rescuers arrived.

Moran was taken to a local medical center, where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses say that they did not hear shots and did not see the shooters.

NPD said the investigation is ongoing.
