(Economy) Sales of the most expensive apartments in Seoul fell for the first time in five months

The share of the most expensive deals last month fell for the first time in five months as the housing boom in Seoul cooled off recently.

According to data released today by Jikbang, a real estate brokerage platform, 15.6% of all deals last month were at the highest price or higher among apartments in Seoul.

That’s down from a 16.9 percent share of trade the previous month, the first time in five months that profits, which had risen for four straight months since June, fell.

Seocho-gu was the autonomous district with the largest decline in the share of highest-priced transactions in central Seoul in October, down 58.5% from the previous month, followed by Eunpyeong and Cheongnang.
