Gas Health Power: 40% of drugs out of stocks

The Health Care Organization states that about 40 percent of essential drugs are not part of the warehouse because Israel has banned humanitarian aid in the enclave for more than a month.

The authorities have published a statement on Thursday, stating that a shortage of drugs and medicines had reached a dangerous and unprecedented level.

They added that emergency departments work with exhausted reserves of rescue medicines and accessories, and that closing of crossings increases the crisis.

The Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres stated that Israel has an obligation under international law as occupation power. He urged the country to quickly allow humanitarian aid in gas.

The forces of Israel’s defense resumed attacks last month, stating that they focused on the Islamic Hamas Group, against the backdrop of deadlock in negotiations on ceasefire continuation.

Israeli media reported on Wednesday that IDF is expanding its buffer zone to include the entire Southern city of Rafach, which is about 20 percent of the Gaza area.
