A person charged with anti -Semitic vandalism in orange recognition guilty

Orange, ohio-orange man who was accused of last fall of vandalization of two homes in the village, spraying the door of Garazh-B, including with anti-Semitic graffiti-bou-to-five years of trial after recognition of guilt in two crimes and misconduct.

On Monday (April 7), in the court of the general pleading of Kuyakhah Kuahga Kellogg, 37 years old, recalled his previous pleas for not guilty of vandalism, ethnic intimidation and threatening persecution, and entered the guilty plea for all three accusations.

Threats by persecution is the misdemeanor of the first degree.

Judge Shannon Hallahler has ruled that “a community control sanction/conditional testing will adequately protect the public and will not bring the seriousness of the crime,” according to the court’s website of general lawsuits.

Hallahler condemned Kellogo to five years of community control/test on each calculation, which will be given simultaneously under the supervision of the adult district probation department.

Kellogo was also ordered to pay a fine of $ 2500, as well as restitution for two families whose houses were vandalized, according to a web.

It should also complete the training programming at the Malzu Museum in Bichwood.

In addition, Kellogg reported that if it violates control after release, the board of parole may impose a prison term as part of the punishment, reports on the website.

“Mr. Kellogo took ownership of his actions,” said Kellogg’s lawyer Michael Goldberg in an email.

“They were ignorant and careless expressions of disappointment in two people, not the Jewish community.

“He realizes that his actions were favorable to the community, and he expressed sincerely and, I think, a real repentance.

“He works on his personal growth and mental health.”

As part of his request, Kellogo visits the consultations on education, substance and mental health of the Holocaust, and “paid for the cost of physical harm that he completely caused,” Goldberg said.

“Criminal crimes do not represent his true character,” Goldberg added.

“Mr. Kellogo is dedicated to his wife and four daughters and do everything possible to fix it wrong.”

At a village council meeting on Wednesday (April 9), Mayor Judson Kline stated that he was satisfied that the case was concluded and that “the situation is now in the past.”

He added that the “victims” were satisfied with the result.

“Due to the intervention of one of the victims, the judge condemned the offender to several years of trial, civil service, education and counseling instead of prison,” Kline said.

“Our residents should be very proud of our police department and neighboring police departments for community partners for gathering quality evidence that gave prosecutors to the case that led to a request.”

Kellogo, who lived in the village for about 10 years, was accused of a large juror Kuyakhaga after the prosecutors stated that in October he painted two different homes.

He was accused of five points of vandalism, two points of threat by persecution and one amount of ethnic intimidation.

Michael Roberts, Police Chief of Orange, said the Police Department believed that Kellog had one in three separate attacks on two homes on Orangewood Drive.

Police arrested Kellogggus after he tried to spray another garage door, but ran when the officer approached him.
