“Editorial” can delete your publications from 28 different social networks

From the issues of safety and privacy to good old -fashioned asylum, there are all kinds of reasons that you may want to remove your old publications on social networks. And there are many tools to work there. Problem: Most tend to focus on one or two social media networks. EditHowever, it is a paid tool with maintaining publications on 28 different services.

You can use it to scan old publications and choose what to delete, or you can look for publications that mention specific topics. It can also be used to delete publications on the schedule – this is perfect if, for example, you wanted to remove all blues – messages per month after their placement. Supported services are wide, including retro social networks that you did not think about the age along with general work tools. How to use editor

To get started you will need to download application and create an account. You can then start entering the services from which you want to delete publications and then choose which posts you want to delete. If you use Chrome, there is a support for all sites that you are now logged in from.

If you do not pay for a subscription, you will quickly notice all types of restrictions – free plan supports Facebook, Twitter, Discord and Reddit, and even for these networks there are limits on how far you can scan messages and how many messages you can delete. The free version is really useful only for feeling service.

You will need a paid plan for most features – plans start from $ 7.99 a month, which operates to $ 95.88 a year (there is no annual discount). This adds for constant use, provided, although you just emphasize old publications from a bunch of accounts, you may only need one month. The final plan is required if you want to delete the files from the Work Accounts, including Slack, GitHub and Stack Exchange – this plan starts from $ 14.99 a month running up to $ 179.88 a year.

The process works the same for most social media networks and services: you enter your account and then you can start scanning and deleting publications. There are four basic modes: Previewwhich allows you to scan messages and view them; Removalwhich removes everything without asking any questions; Select and deletethat allows you to check the messages you want to delete before you continue; and Deletion decompositionwhich allows you to automatically delete the message on a permanent basis. Note that you will need to leave the program installed and running on your device to work for the planned deletion.

It is worth noting that every application support has Light and Advanced form. How it works depends on which social network you use. For example, an advanced Reddit form allows you to filter Subreddit messages, publication type, keywords, NSFW tags and more. You can even choose not to delete messages that have a certain amount of karma. There are such advanced rules for each network, that is, you can really take control of what you want to delete.

There are numerous learning options that are selected to a particular social network that you try to clean up. The user interface explains what everything does, and when there are restrictions, what are these restrictions.
