Army brigade, charged with sexual harassment in Schillong, sounding

Schillong, March 14: The Brigade in the Indian Army is accused of sexual harassment of the wife of a junior officer in the capital of Megalai, Schillong. While the police have registered the case, the arrest has not yet been arrested and the official response of the army is waiting.

A woman whose husband is a shillong colonel filed a complaint last Monday, which describes several cases of projected misconduct, including inappropriate remarks, physical intimidation and threats. The last incident was reported that on March 8, the officers’ disorder, where she accused the senior officer of the performance of comments and use of cruel language, despite her objection. She also claimed that he physically accused of her, encouraging her husband to intervene.

The complaint further mentions past incidents, including an inappropriate comment to her dress in the west, which is grinding the house in April 2024, and the case when a brigade brigade, allegedly, kept his hand in front of her husband at lunch in their home.

The woman called fear and injury as a reason not approaching the police before. Based on her complaint, police booked an officer for sexual harassment, insulting a woman’s modesty and criminal intimidation. The case has caused serious concern, and the lawsuits are expected to happen.
