The pedestrian died in strokes near the Elysian fields; Separate shooting in the parish Saint -Bernard

The new Orlean (Wvue) was hit and killed in a crash near Elisian Fildes and Choto Street on Thursday night (March 13), NOPD reports.

The authorities said the accident happened about 8 pm, the victim, an adult pedestrian woman, was declared dead at the scene.

Police have not released more details about the incident, and the driver’s search is ongoing.

The closure of roads is valid when investigators work at the scene. According to officials, south of the Elysian fields and Elysian fields to the south on Genitili Boulevard.

Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident, the Parish -Bernard Parish power is investigating a deadly shooting, which took place shortly after 7pm in 2200 in 2200 quarter of the colonial boulevard on Violet.

Police say that an adult has been shot and killed, and detectives are working to gather more information.
