Citizen Zimbabwe, Tatend Bang on Thursday, found his guilt in the US District Court in Seattle in two federal crimes related to his illegal border crossing in the desert between Canada and Western Washington.

According to the acting of the American prosecutor, Body Luti Miller, 30 -year -old Banga was observed twice in 2024 on observation chambers near the Gozomen, Washington in the northern cascades. He pleaded guilty that he was an illegal alien in possession of firearms and the possession of controlled substances with the intention.

His sentence is scheduled for US District Judge Jamal N. Whitehead on June 12.

According to the Agreement on Failure, on January 3, 2024, the technology of detecting a US border patrol seized an image of an armed man that is part of the US near the north end of Lake Ross near Gozommen, Washington. The image depicts a person who is later identified as Bang, intersects above the border with the Longarm gun. Later on that day, Banga shows that another camera near the border was shouting.

The staff from the border patrol and the service of the National Park reacted and sought the person depicted in the observation, but the theme fled into the forest and was not located. Agents found a loaded rifle from a 12-caliber willer, which seemed to match the gun to the observation image that the subject was left behind during his flight from law enforcement. The gun was traced to the dealer of firearms in Montreal, but no fingerprints that correspond to the fact that on the gun was found.

On December 27, 2024, the National Park Service warned the border patrol on suspicion of cross -border activity. Near the Ross -Dam with machete and food wrappers inside the canoe was found on a national parking canoe. The RCMP cameras provided an image of someone with Fau and a backpack moving to the US/Canada border.

During the movement of the highway 20 (the Northern Cascade Highway) near the southern end of Lake Ross, the border patrol agents noticed the Bangi walking on the side of the highway. The appearance of the Bang corresponded to the appearance of personality from the images of the observation RCMP. Banga appealed to the Immigration Inspectorate and did not have documents that he would legally passed to the United States, or that he was legally present in the United States when Banga was taken into custody, he had weight, gelatin capsules and about 1.4 kilograms of MDMA in his possession.

It was then that the border patrol agents recognized Banga with the same person who was recorded by default cameras in the area almost a year before. Border patrol agents carry fingerprints found on a rifle that was removed on the US side of the border in January 2024, and fingerprints on the gun were responsible. Bang phone information also linked it to the gun. Banga confesses that he illegally entered the United States, armed with a gun.

Being an illegal alien in the possession of a firearm is punishable by up to 15 years in prison. The possession of a controlled substance with the intention to distribute up to 20 years of imprisonment. Judge Whitehead will determine the actual sentence after considering the guidelines of the sentence and other legislative factors.

The case was investigated by the US Border Patrol Blane Sector Against Smuggling, the National Park Service and Internal Security Investigation on Immigration and Customs (ICE HSI). The case is persecuted by US prosecutor Dane A. Westermeier and a special assistant US prosecutor Catherine Collins.
