Str. Paul (KVRR/KFGO) – The Minnesot State Senate Committee has assumed a new complaint against ethics against democratic senator Nicole Mitchell with Woodbury, who faces two charges of crime.

Republican legislators watched the previous complaint about ethics for entering the Machukha House in Detroit Lakes last April.

Mitchell did not plead guilty.

Republican senator Karin Husley says that the new statement is incredibly detailed, including descriptions of where Mitchell was found, what she wore, and Mitchell’s comments made before, and after she was given the rights of Miranda and arrested.

There is also an additional complaint that it has violated the Rules of the House of Interest when it voted for a procedural movement that blocks the discussion and later the vote on its expulsion from the Senate.

The Senate Subcommittee on Ethical Conduct has an equal number of republican and democratic members and could not agree on how to continue.

Both complaints will remain open to Mitchell’s trial, which will be planned for June, after the current session of the legislation is completed.
