The 44 -year -old Borukhovitz arrested the CEO of the Electrical Association Velly, Angela Evans, in February 2019, according to the court. Prosecutors with the US Prosecutor’s Office in Nevada County Borukhovitz acknowledged that he had arrested Evans “for no probable reason” on charges of stealing.

“When arrested, he deliberately deprived her of her rights in accordance with the fourth amendment of the United States Constitution to be free from unreasonable seizure,” prosecutors said.

As part of the scheme, prosecutors say that Borukhovitz published about the arrest of Evans on the NYE Sheriff’s Office page on Facebook because he knew that it would affect the next member of the Board of the Electrical Association.

On Thursday, prosecutors announced that Borukhovitz had found his guilt on one calculation of deprivation of the rights of law and one of the issues of fraud with wire. It can take up to 21 years in prison if you make a maximum sentence.
