The former PSU basketball player sue the team is allegedly disagreement NIL

University Park, Pennsylvania (WJAC) – A former member of the Penn Men Basketball Team sued, claiming that he was a victim of intimidation and defamation after leaving the team.

Kanye Clary filed a lawsuit against various parties, including head coach in basketball Mike Ruds.

Clary was released from the NitTany Lions team in early 2024, after it was first removed.

In the lawsuit, Clary claims that his release was due to the fact that he opposed other members of the team, as well as differences in name, image and likeness.

Clary says he was the subject of false rumors, which eventually led to depression and damage to his reputation.

Clary eventually moved to another team.

Penn Stat and Rowes coach were asked to release the claim, claiming that Clari’s accusations are “vague and scattered.”
