The United Nations investigation was concluded on Thursday (local time) that Israel performed “genocide actions” in Gaza by destroying its main IVF clinic, maternity installations and other reproductive health care facilities.

The UN Commission’s study said Israel “intentionally attacked and destroyed the” Main Center for Ferritality of the Palestinian Territory, and at the same time imposed siege and blocked assistance, including medicines to ensure safe pregnancy, deliveries and neonatal care.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyhah reacted, calling the conclusions “false and absurd.”

In a statement, the United Nations Commission stated that it found that the Israeli authorities “partially destroyed the reproductive capacity of the Palestinians in gas as a group of systematic destruction of sexual and reproductive health.”

It said it was “two categories of genocidal acts” during the onset of Israel in Gas, launched after Hamas fighters attacks on Israel on October 7, 2023.

The United Nations Genocide Convention defines that crime as actions committed with the intention to destroy, in whole or in part, national, ethnic, racial or religious group.

Of the five categories, the investigation stated that two influencing Israel “intentionally caused group living conditions designed to cause its physical destruction” and “imposing measures intended to prevent born in the group.”

‘Chronic lies’

In May 2021, three personal international commission of three persons was established in Israel and Palestinian territories, founded by the UN Human Rights Council.

Commission member Chris Sidoti explained that the crime of genocide concerning actions and intentions – both general and specific – and the report has so far considered only actions.

“We have not made any conclusion of genocide. We have defined a number of acts that constitute categories of genocide law in accordance with the law. We have not yet studied the issue of a genocidal purpose,” he said at a press conference.

“We will soon be able to fully resolve the issue of genocide,” he added, potentially later this year.

The Secretary of Hamas Khazem Cassem said AFP that the report “confirms what happened on the ground: genocide and violation of all humanitarian and legal standards.”

He stated that it emphasized “the urgent need to accelerate the prosecution (Israeli) leaders for these crimes and to ensure their rapid court in the International Criminal Court.”

Netanyhah recorded the Human Rights Council “Anti -Iraeli Circus”.

He said that the UN “again decides to attack the states of Israel with false accusations, including absurd claims.”

The Mission of Israel in Geneva has accused the commission of promoting a “pre -defined and biased political program … In a shameless attempt to blame the forces of Israel’s defense.”

In response, Sidoti said that Israel “continues to” investigate the investigation and prevents access to Israel and Palestinian territories.

“They clearly do not read our documents. They obviously have the agenda they persecute, completely devoid of any relationship to the fact. This is a chronic lie,” he said.

Destruction of the IVF clinic

The report states that the gas is systematically destroyed by hospitals and wards, as well as the Center for Al-Basma IVF, the main fertility clinic.

It said Al-Basma was fired in December 2023, destroying about 4,000 embryos at a clinic that served 2000 to 3000 patients per month.

The commission found that the Israeli security forces intentionally attacked and destroyed the clinic, including all reproductive materials stored for the future conception of the Palestinians.

He concluded that destruction “is an event designed to prevent births among Palestinians in gas, which is a genocide act.”

The ‘extermination’

In addition, the report refers to the wider damage to pregnant, lactating and new mothers on an “unprecedented scale”, with an irreversible impact on the reproductive and fertility of the prospects of Gazana.

Such basic actions “make crimes against humanity” and intentionally try to destroy the Palestinians as a group – “one of the categories of genocidal acts”, summed up the commission.

The report concluded that Israel directly aimed at civilian women and girls: “actions that constitute a crime against humanity murder and a war crime of premeditated murder.”

Women and girls have died of pregnancy and childbirth complications due to the conditions imposed by Israeli authorities that affect access to reproductive health care, “acts that a crime against humanity is a crime,” – he added.

Sidoti stated that the next steps are “certainly involving courts” and countries can take measures under international law.

“If they are waiting for the Safety Council, they will wait until hell freezes,” he said.
