Indonesian businessman faced with extradition from the application for a collateral of Singapore

Singapore: A businessman involved in Corruption case related to the government project in Indonesia It will continue in Singapore, waiting for a medical report with prison.

Businessman Paulus Tannos is a suspect in a transplant related to the Indonesia electronic certificate project, which was said to have caused the state about 2.3 trillion of Rs ($ 140 million).

He was first detained without bail after he was arrested by the Bureau of Investigation of Corruption Practice on January 17, waiting for his official request for his extradition to Indonesia.

Turning to Tannos through a translator, the judge stated that he demanded that he ask Tannos whether he wanted to agree to surrender to a foreign state.

Tannos answered in English: “I don’t want to return to Indonesia, your honor.”

After he was reminded of speaking through a translator, he stated in Bahas Indonesia that he “did not want to return to Indonesian authorities.”

His subsequent hearing was established on March 19, and the state lawyer must update the court on his / her response.

Tanno, meanwhile, will remain in custody.

Mr. Shanmumuk said that tannos can be extracted in six months or less if he does not challenge his extradition. But the process can take up to two years if it is appealed at every step.
