Some details have emerged about Marvel Studios and Sony Picture Spider-Man 4. The film originates from Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton with Tom Holland ready to repeat his role.

The film is slated for release on July 26, 2026, and will be released between Avengers: Judgment Day and Avengers: Secret Wars.

According to Industrial weeklythe film will be called Spider-Man: All New Day, a nod to the comic book reboot that threw off its status quo after the cartoon’s marriage to Mary Jane Watson broke up.

They also shared the following possible story details:

“After the events of Judgment Day, Peter Parker is determined to live a normal life and focus on college, stepping back from his duties as Spider-Man.

“However, the peace is short-lived when a deadly new threat emerges, endangering his friends and forcing Peter to reconsider his promise.”

“With the stakes higher than ever, Peter reluctantly returns to his Spider-Man identity and finds himself teaming up with an unlikely ally to protect those he loves.”

Holland recently discovered that he and Zendaya read a draft of the script, and he expressed his excitement about the direction the film’s story will take.

Holland said: “We have the creative, pitching and drafting which is great. It needs work, but the writers are doing a great job. I read this 3 weeks ago and it really lit a fire in me.

“Zendaya and I sat down and read it together, and sometimes we were bouncing around the living room like it was a real movie worthy of the fans’ respect.”

He also said: “The idea is crazy. It’s a bit different from anything we’ve done before, but I think the fans will really respond to it.”
